"Wolfsbane” is from a series of botanicals exploring the fascinating duality of poisonous/medicinal plants.
In ancient times, Wolfsbane was a potent weapon. It was used as a poison on spears and arrows. It was believed to repel werewolves, as well as real wolves. Ancient Romans used it as a method of execution.
As a medicinal plant, Wolfsbane has been used as a treatment of joint and muscle pain and is claimed to slow the heart rate in cardiac patients. It can also reduce fevers and cold symptoms.
