"The One You Feed" illustrates the internal battle between opposing forces within us. The duality of the wolves, one celestial and the other earthbound, is a visual representation of the inner conflict between our higher aspirations and our base instincts. The human figure becomes the battleground for these forces, symbolizing the choices we make in feeding one aspect of our nature over the other.

"The One You Feed" is from the series, “Untangling Our Roots”, which explores the evolution from childhood beliefs and cultural influences to developing a unique path and voice as an adult. Each painting in the series addresses a different universal struggle and is infused with a solitary figure, enigmatic nature as a healing and guiding force, and/or spiritual and cultural symbolism. This series strives to embody mystery, beauty, exploration, and discovery.
